Stanley College has been appointed to the preferred provider panel for courses funded under the Future Skills WA Program. We offer a wide range of funded courses in Spoken and Written English, Health, Hospitality and Child Care. We are the only provider to offer Spoken and Written English courses under the Participation Program for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) people.

Please note that completion of the Stanley College Application Form does not guarantee enrolment or funding. Enrolment is dependent on funding being confirmed and the student’s ability to meet the eligibility criteria.
 

STUDENT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

You are eligible for a funded course at Stanley College if
you have left school and you are:

  • an Australian citizen OR
  • a permanent visa holder OR
  • a holder of visa subclass 309, 310, 820, 826 or 851 OR
  • a dependent of the primary holder of a visa subclass 457
  • AND your primary place of residence is in Western Australia

ADDITIONAL STUDENT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO RECEIVE FUNDING UNDER THE PARTICIPATION PROGRAM:

FOR CULTURALLY AND LINGUISTICALLY DIVERSE (CaLD) PEOPLE:

Candidates must be born overseas and hold the following documentation, including but not limited to:

  • a humanitarian visa OR
  • a passport OR
  • travel documents OR
  • a birth certificate

Candidates born in Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Canada, South Africa, the United States of America and Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander are excluded from this program.
 

STUDENT CONCESSION FEE FOR ALL COURSES:

Eligible students are:

  • holders (and their dependants) of either a pensioner concession card, repatriation health benefits card or health care card OR
  • recipients (and their dependants) of AUSTUDY, ABSTUDY or Youth Allowance OR
  • persons who has reached 15 years of age but has not reached the end of the calendar year in which their compulsory education period expires, as defined in the School Education Act 1999. In 2017, these persons will be born on or after 1 July 1999.

FEE WAIVER

Student fees may be waived for applicants with severe financial hardship. For more information, call Stanley College at 9227 1797.
