Hospitality Essentials Workshop^
If you have a passion for food, wine and customer service and would like to increase your chance to work in one of Perth's top
hospitality venues, then this course is for you!
You will learn how to:
Set up a restaurant and prepare for service
Meet and greet customers
Provide recommendations on food and beverages
Accurately take orders
Provide stellar service of food & beverage to demanding customers
Clear tables professionally
Financial transactions and farewell
Techniques to exceed customer's expectations
You will practice your skills at our training restaurant – The Culinary Workshop - and gain the knowledge and practical skills necessary for employment.
The course modules:
Personal Presentation and Standards
Getting to know the restaurant
Introduction to order taking and Post of Sale (POS)
Techniques to maintain restaurant equipment
Setting up the restaurant - "Mise en Place"
Sequence of Service
Food and Beverage skills
Reporting to a Supervisor
Recommending products to customers - Selling Techniques
Choose your career
Career exploration in the field of Hospitality
Practical application of all skills
Certificate of Completion
After the course:
You will be able to practice your skills in our training venue.
We will use our extensive network of hospitality venues to assist you to find paid work.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course!
Monday to Friday, 5 days (35 hours)
Time: 9 am - 4 pm
You must be 18 years and above
$750 per person
$300 (Students must have completed their RSA* prior to the commencement of this course.)
$399 (This option includes an enrolment to complete your RSA* at Stanley College prior to commencing the Hospitality Essentials Workshop.)
