The Culinary Workshop

TCW-logo_2019 As the official training venue for Stanley College hospitality courses, The Culinary Workshop has two commercial kitchens and a restaurant on campus. This provides students with a distinct advantage as they can develop and improve their cookery, management, customer service and other skills in a real work environment. SIT30816 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery students spend 20 weeks (Term Two and Three) in the kitchen learning practical skills before going to work-based training for 10 weeks (Term Four) at our partner clubs/hotels.



Stanley College partners with Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough to provide state of the art work-based training for students. Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough is an iconic beachfront hotel overlooking the soft white sand of Scarborough Beach. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Straits Cafe boasts a modern Australian menu with a focus on regionally sourced produce. The team of award-winning chefs will help enhance your culinary skills and professionalism, helping you enter the industry with invaluable experience.
