The following information will help you with a guide to getting settled in Perth/Adelaide and what to do when you arrive at the airport.

Arrival Information

You will be greeted at the Perth Airport International Terminal by a Stanley College team member, and accompanied to your accommodation destination. To book Airport Reception, please complete the relevant sections in the International Student Application Form or ask admissions for more information.

Accommodation Options

Stanley College can assist students in their search for accommodation such as homestay or shared accommodation. We will ensure that our students have a safe, enjoyable and worthwhile learning experience while living with either a homestay family or in shared accommodation.

Homestay

While living with a local host family or individual, you will be provided with a clean, furnished bedroom with a bed, desk, wardrobe, chair and a study lamp. You will also have access to bathroom and laundry facilities as well as an option for meal services. The minimum duration for homestay is generally 2 weeks. Homestay is organised by AHN.

Notes for prices for your consideration:

Package prices include Laundry Facilities, Utilities (e.g. Power/Water) and Internet is included in ALL Homestay packages. You will no longer need to pay this money directly to hosts.

Students with special dietary requirements (i.e. Kosher, Halal, Gluten Free, Vegetarian or Vegan meals, etc.) may be charged a fee to cover the additional costs to hosts, contact your local office for further details. Prices are subject to change

Individual living expenses may vary depending on the type of accommodation, personal consumption and lifestyle.
The Australian Government Department of Home Affairs recommends $24,505 as a base figure, to cover one year’s expenses for a single person.
